Classical Festive Afternoon Tea – Four Seasons Singapore

// Festive Weekend Afternoon Tea c/0 Four Seasons Hotel Singapore //

Happy Holidays from Singapore! I love the Festive Season and I’m excited to share my first holiday post. Since I moved to Singapore, one thing I’ve  learned is that Singaporeans love to celebrate! From Diwali to Chinese New Year, the diverse and inclusive country celebrates many cultures and religions. For the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays, Singapore is adorned with tinsel, ornaments, and garlands. Walking down Orchard Road, you feel like you are in a Winter Wonderland. For me, the holidays are not about gifts or presents – it’s about spending time with the people in your life that you want to give thanks for. Since moving to Singapore, my friend Sunita has been more than a friend, she has been a sister to me. A mom, luxury real estate professional, and wife –  Sunita has her hands full; yet, always makes time to check on me and the family. When I was getting ready to deliver Baby Aadhav, I booked my mom’s ticket to arrive on Aadhav”s due date. Little did we know that our little one would arrive a week early! After I delivered, I was missing my mom and sister so much. With tears in my eyes, I heard a knock on the hospital room door. In came Sunita full of love and hugs for Baby Aadhav. The surprise touched me so much and I felt the love of a sister all around me. When I heard about the Classical Festive Celebrations at the Four Seasons in Singapore, I knew I wanted to celebrate our friendship over a festive afternoon tea. As you know, I love high tea and was excited to try my first afternoon tea at the Four Seasons. The service, food, and drinks were ah-mazing! Sharing our Afternoon Tea experience below!

Classical Festive Afternoon Tea – Four Seasons Singapore

  • Festive!: Holiday decor always gets me in the Festive spirit. Christmas trees, snowflakes, and  wreaths, all make the mood so joyful. Walking into the Four Seasons, you are welcomed by the most beautiful tree decorated with ornaments, poinsettia, and fairy lights. Throughout the property, the little details bring a smile to your face. You feel so warm and cozy and ready for the holidays. The massive gingerbread house in the lobby is a treat to the eyes and the details (macaroon roof top!) are so intricate.
  • Desserts: Pastry Chef Audrey Yee outdoes herself with the desserts. Pastries are always my favorite part of afternoon tea and Chef Yee’s desserts were divine. From the scones to the chocolate mousse, each bite has so much depth and flavors.
  • Food: The savory items complimented the sweet items perfectly. The mini sandwiches were so yummy and the Chef always has a few surprises. We also tried mini grilled cheese and a spinach tart that were delish.
  • Drinks: The selection of teas is great and the cocktails are rockstars. From the House drink to the bubbly Prosecco, each drink has so many notes and flavors, My drink came with a rose lemon peel garnished with powdered sugar!
  • Service: The team at the Four Seasons Singapore truly make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. It’s not everyday that you enjoy an afternoon tea at a beautiful hotel and the staff make sure your visit is one to remember! During our tea, the One-Ninety Bar manager brought us fresh baked cookies from the Kid’s Corner and they were the highlight of our tea!
  • Thankful: The holidays are a time to reflect and give thanks for all the blessings in your life. The Classical Festive Celebrations at the Four Seasons are the perfect way to treat your loved ones and say thank you for their love and friendship.
