#WeddingWear – Indian Summer Wedding Ceremony Look

Indian Wedding Wear Ceremony v11

With wedding season in full swing, I wanted to share an outfit post from a wedding I attended over the weekend. This wedding was so elegant and well coordinated. The food was delicious from a dosa station during lunch to a dessert table fit for a royal wedding. I shared videos and stories from the wedding on Snapchat (username: SocialandStyle).  Follow along and would love to see your stories too! Since the morning function was a Sikh ceremony, I channeled my punjabi roots and wore a bright salwar kameez. Adding to the outfit, I paired heirloom Kundan earrings with Ghungroo Bell Kada Bangle Cuff Bracelets from Exclusively.In. With gorgeous weather, the outfit was so comfortable to dance in during the Bharat and I am so glad I saved my sari for the evening reception.

These next few weeks are going to be pretty hectic with work and family commitments. I’ll try to write on the blog twice a week and will be sharing all the fun (and more frequently) on Snapchat and Instagram too!

  1. I have had so many occasions this year where I would love to wear Indian outfits, but the burgeoning belly puts a full stop to it! I am looking forward to wearing some sarees in the near future though..not for weddings but other ceremonies…You look stunning in mustard yellow and blue combination..wedding ceremonies are so much fun, for the guests mostly..hehe.. :D

  2. I love the blue/orange combination. Very summery!
