Planning a Babymoon in Paris and a day at the The Palace of Versailles

Location // Château de Versailles // Dress Asos similar // Shoes Toms

Our babymoon in Paris was a dream. It was so nice to relax and enjoy the Parisian lifestyle for 10-days. Also, celebrating my 34th birthday and Mother’s day (Both on May 14th!) during the trip made for beautiful memories. Of all the trips I have taken, this holiday was the most chill and go-with-the-flow. I have my little peanut to thank for that. Given this was my fourth trip to Paris (2nd and 3rd here) Paris, I had already seen most of the major sites from the Eiffel Tower to the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur. This babymoon was about spending time with my husband, embracing the Parisian lifestyle, and being in the moment.  I am so thankful I didn’t go overboard with planning or taking pictures! There is definitely something about Paris that helps you appreciate natural beauty and the simple things in life. Sharing a recap of our babymoon in Paris today, how to plan a babymoon in Paris, and a day at The Palace of Versailles!

#TravelThursday – Springtime in Paris

Travel Thursdays are my favorite posts to write about. I love remembering the sites, feelings, and experiences traveling through these amazing cities. This time last year, I was in Montmartre, Paris sitting at a café with my journal, reflecting on the year so far. This process of reflection helped me understand how I wanted to focus my year ahead and what I wanted to do more of (adventure, family / friend time, blogging). While I’m not in Paris (sigh), I’m at a café in Georgetown, taking time to disconnect, reflect, and get physically and mentally ready for spring. I’ll share my new workout routines, springtime cleanses, and ideas to get you feeling ready for the new season! What are you doing to get ready for spring?!

[Travel Tuesday] – I <3 Paris

Paris is on the list of everyone’s favorite cities.  Having traveled to Paris each spring for the last three years, I can understand why.  Paris is not the type of city that embraces you – you embrace it.  Walking along the stone side streets of Avenue des Champs-Élysées, eating a croissant at your favorite cafe, and taking life in – like it should be lived,  I too fell in love with Paris.  I love the city’s simplicity and beauty from the iron window detailing to the scenic views from Sacré-Cœur. Paris is a lesson in life on how to enjoy the present moment.
