This summer is packed with celebrations! With 6 Indian weddings, I really have to plan what I’m wearing to each event. Planning has helped make getting ready less stressful and I am able to make the most out of my wardrobe. I bought a few statement pieces and mixed them with store brands and clothes I already had.
When buying designer outfits, I look for designs that stand out in a timeless way. The first designer that came to mind was Payal Singhal. I love Payal’s prints, especially the Ottoman pattern. Buying this dupatta from Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop was an easy decision since it’s super affordable and can be worn in multiple ways.
One of my first events this summer was my friend’s sangeet, which was held at a scenic winery outside of Washington D.C. I knew right away I wanted to wear the Payal Singhal dupatta since it would be perfect for a summer soiree. I paired the dupatta with a crop top from Omaa Boutique and palazzo pants from Alice + Olivia. Since I was the MC for the event, I wanted to feel comfortable and be able to move around. I’ll be sharing the rest of the looks from the upcoming weddings – stay tuned!
